Year end Graduation and Christmas Picnic

We joyfully celebrated the Pathasala Year-End Christmas Celebration and 2025 Graduation Ceremony with our students and their families, marking a meaningful conclusion to a year filled with learning, growth, and togetherness.

At Pathasala, we strongly believe in the value of unity and community. To further strengthen this bond, families came together in a shared picnic, kindly bringing plates of food to enjoy collectively. This simple yet powerful act reflected the spirit of togetherness that defines our Pathasala family.

What began as a small community has now grown into one big family, and celebrating the end of the year in this way was truly special. It provided a beautiful opportunity to reflect on our journey and the milestones we have achieved together.

During the event, we expressed our heartfelt gratitude to all our teachers, volunteers, and parents for their unwavering dedication and commitment throughout the year. Their continuous support has played a vital role in helping our children learn the Nepali language and culture, while staying deeply connected to their roots. Ms Rojina Tamrakar, President of the Nepali Society of Tasmania, who shared her heartfelt appreciation for our teachers and volunteers and acknowledged their hard work and dedication by presenting Christmas gifts.

Adding to the festive joy, Pathasala also arranged Christmas presents for all students, delivered by Santa himself. The excitement and happiness on the children’s faces as they received their gifts truly brought the celebration to life.

As we celebrated another year of milestones, we enjoyed the delicious meals prepared by our wonderful parents and reaffirmed our shared commitment to community support and volunteering at Pathasala.

We concluded the event by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and joyful holidays. We look forward to welcoming our students back in the coming year with renewed enthusiasm as we continue to celebrate our culture, values, language, and most importantly our connection to our roots.
