Harmony Week 2025 Special Edition of Chiya Guff Run- Run for Harmony Sunday

Run for Harmony is a regular Sunday-themed run under NEST’s community wellness initiative Chiya Guff Run. On Harmony Week 2025, the Nepali Society of Tasmania hosted a special edition on Sunday, 23rd March 2025, at Goshawk Way, Kingston.

This week’s run celebrated the rich cultural diversity we cherish and support in Tasmania. The event featured a 5km fun run/walk, a vibrant Samoan dance workshop, and the signature Chiya Guff tea and chitchat session—bringing together people from all walks of life to connect over culture and conversation.

Members from a wide range of communities—including Samoan, Colombian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Malaysian, and participants from Guess My Accent and Relationships Australia Tasmania—joined in the celebration.

The special edition of Run for Harmony truly embodied the spirit of inclusion and belonging, reinforcing NEST’s commitment to creating spaces where health, culture, and harmony thrive together.
