On the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmasthami, we had the honour of organising a Kids’ Talent Show on 7th August,2025 at Risdon Vale Hall. This special event was thoughtfully designed to celebrate our children—not only for their talents, but for their confidence, creativity, and growth.
Our students delighted the audience with a beautiful variety of performances, ranging from playing musical instruments to chanting devotional hymns, each presentation reflecting dedication and enthusiasm. Particularly heart-warming were the performances by our youngest children, some as young as three years old, who amazed everyone with their joyful group dances. Through these performances, the children experienced the true spirit of togetherness, learning the values of teamwork, social interaction, and mutual encouragement at such a tender age.
Adding elegance and pride to the evening, another group of students presented a fashion walk, gracefully showcasing traditional cultural attire. With confident strides, radiant smiles, and heads held high, these young participants beautifully demonstrated self-belief and cultural pride.
The programme reached a meaningful depth with a drama performance depicting the childhood life of Lord Krishna, presented in the Nepali language. This performance stood as a powerful expression of creativity, cultural awareness, and thoughtful understanding, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
To further encourage inclusivity and self-expression, the stage was opened to individual performances, welcoming both Pathasala and non-Pathasala students. This open platform allowed every child the opportunity to shine, discover their potential, and build confidence in a supportive environment and we have witnessed the amazing talent and skills of our students through their art, emceeing skills and creativity.
We were deeply honoured by the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Clarence City Council, Ms Allison Ritchie, along with esteemed members of the Nepalese community. Their attendance and encouragement greatly enriched the occasion and reaffirmed the importance of nurturing young talent within our community.
Overall, the Kids’ Talent Show was more than a celebration—it was a heartfelt effort to uplift our children, strengthen their confidence, and inspire them to believe in themselves, making this Krishna Janmasthami a truly memorable and meaningful experience for all.
