As part of NEST’s ongoing effort to preserve and promote Nepali culture, Pathasala kids celebrated Tihar with a vibrant Deusi Bhailo program at Pathasala. This annual event is a cherished tradition organised by the Pathasala teachers and management team, focusing on cultural education and community involvement.
Dressed in colourful cultural attire, the children performed traditional songs and dances, recreating the festive spirit of Tihar. The event included Deusi Bhailo rounds, where kids sang and danced in groups, collecting symbolic donations—just as is done in Nepal.
Funds raised through the Deusi Bhailo were reinvested into future cultural activities at Pathasala. The event was filled with joy, laughter, and pride, as both kids and parents enjoyed the performances and festive atmosphere.
